Who owns the content generated through Sessionboard Marketing?

The event organizer retains full ownership of all content generated through the platform — transcripts, summaries, media assets, and campaign materials. Sessionboard acts as the infrastructure layer; it does not claim rights to any content created, captured, or distributed through the platform.

Can speakers control whether their sessions are transcribed or recorded?

Yes. Sessionboard includes session-level controls that allow organizers to designate individual sessions as 'Do Not Record' or 'Licensed Content — No Transcription.' These controls are configured per session and are especially important for European events, academic conferences, or any session where the speaker retains rights to their content. Speakers can also flag consent preferences through the speaker portal.

How does Sessionboard handle GDPR and speaker consent for transcription?

Organizers can configure consent settings at the session and event level. Speakers can be required to acknowledge recording consent as part of the speaker portal onboarding flow. All transcription and content capture is disabled by default and must be actively started by the AV team using the Ready Room. Sessionboard is GDPR-compliant and SOC 2 Type II-certified.

Can organizations control how speakers customize their campaign assets?

Yes. Sessionboard Amplify gives organizers full control over brand templates — including locked fields (logo, event colors, core messaging), admin approval workflows for any edited content before it's shared, and per-channel content guidelines. Speakers can personalize within the brand boundaries the organizer sets.

Can we still use Ingo, Snöball, or Gleanin alongside Sessionboard Marketing?

Yes. Sessionboard integrates with Gleanin and Snöball for organizations that have existing contracts or use those tools for attendee sharing. Sessionboard Marketing is designed to replace those platforms for speaker and exhibitor campaigns — while the integrations remain available for teams that need both. Over time, most teams consolidate onto Sessionboard for speaker-facing campaigns.

Does Sessionboard support multi-language content generation?

Yes. AI-generated social copy in Amplify can be translated to the language of your choice — including Spanish, French, German, and others. This is particularly valuable for international events where speaker audiences speak different languages from the event's primary language.

Where does all the transcription and media content live?

All content is centralized inside Sessionboard. Transcripts, AI summaries, media files, and campaign assets are stored in the platform and connected to the relevant session and speaker profile in the CRM. Content is never siloed in a separate tool — Sessionboard is the system of record.

Can we import existing video or transcripts from other platforms?

Yes. Sessionboard supports video ingestion from any source — AV company uploads, Goldcast exports, webinar recordings, or direct uploads. Transcripts can be imported or generated natively within the platform. All imported content is indexed, speaker-attributed, and made searchable in the Media Library.

How does content attribution work when a speaker presents at multiple events?

Every piece of content captured through Sessionboard is permanently linked to the speaker's CRM profile — across all events. A speaker who presents at 10 events through Sessionboard builds a 10-event content history: all their transcripts, all their sessions, all their campaign participation, searchable and attributable in one place.

Is Sessionboard Marketing a separate product or part of the core platform?

Sessionboard Marketing is a native capability set within the Sessionboard platform — not a separate product or add-on. Speaker Ready Room, Transcriptions, Amplify, and the Media Library are all part of the connected platform. Organizations can enable the Marketing feature set as part of their Sessionboard subscription.
