Sessionboard vs Gleanin.
Gleanin captures the share at the registration confirmation: an embedded widget, a personalized image, often a prize hook. Sessionboard meets attendees at the same moment with their own kit, then keeps going: speakers and sponsors share the sessions themselves, and every share and registration lands on the profile that Pathways and your CRM read.
SIDE BY SIDE
Where each one does its work.
Read from the approved comparison, not from a feature checklist. Where we could not verify a Gleanin capability from their own material, the cell says so.
| Capability | Sessionboard | Gleanin |
|---|---|---|
| Share at registration confirmation | Attendee kit from the confirmation email or page, with the registrant’s own link. | Embedded share widget on the confirmation page with personalized images. |
| Share moments after that | Speaker acceptance, agenda publish, recording ready, replay published. | varies |
| Who shares | Attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. | Primarily registered attendees; speaker and exhibitor campaigns vary. |
| Prize hooks and contests | varies | Sweepstakes and prize carousels on the widget. |
| What they share | Session clips, quote cards and session pages, branded with your kit. | Personalized event images and copy. |
| Attribution | Share kits with tracked links for speakers, sponsors and attendees; registrations traced back to the share. | Registrations attributed to shares. |
| Where the data lands | On the attendee and speaker records; synced to your CRM and AMS; feeds Pathways. | Gleanin dashboards. |
| Contract | Included in the Marketing product. | Separate subscription. |
Gleanin owns the confirmation moment well. Sessionboard covers that moment and the ones that follow, on a record that connects the share to the session and the person.
WHERE IT DIFFERS · MORE MOMENTS
Registration is the first share, not the only one.
The kit updates as the program does: the attendee’s saved sessions, the speaker’s accepted talk, the sponsor’s session, the replay. Each one is a new reason to share, with the same tracked link.

WHERE IT DIFFERS · THE RECORD
A share is a signal, not a stat.
Shares and the registrations they brought land on the person, next to their sessions, surveys and plays. Pathways turns that into the next step and your CRM or AMS sees it.

Questions, answered
We use Gleanin on our Cvent confirmation page today.
Sessionboard’s attendee entry works from the same page for Cvent registrants; swap the embed or run both for a cycle.
Does it need our registration platform?
Attendee kits work from the confirmation email or page for supported platforms, or from a tracked link for any other.
Can we export the data?
Yes: CSV, the public API and webhooks, plus the CRM and AMS sync.
