Event reporting software that answers the question, not just the export

Sessionboard's event reporting software reads the same record your program runs on. Start from a gallery of ready-made reports, describe what you need in plain English, or build it in the Report Builder; put any report on an event analytics dashboard or an organization dashboard that compares every event you run; schedule it, share it as a live link, or ask the question in plain language and get the number and the why.

QUICK ANSWER

What makes Sessionboard an event analytics dashboard, not an export?

Dashboards and reports run on the live event record, so a widget is current when the board opens and a shared link shows today's numbers, not last week's spreadsheet. Any question you have not built a dashboard for goes to Ask, which answers in plain language from the same data and opens reports and dashboards beside the conversation.

REPORT BUILDER

Build the report in the time it takes to describe it

Reports has two starting points and both open the builder: browse a gallery of ready-made reports filtered by sessions, speakers, submissions, agenda, tasks and compliance, contacts, sponsors, exhibitors and audit, or describe the report with AI in plain English. In the builder, fields sit on the left (the session, then what is connected to it: speakers, sponsors, tasks, ratings), a live preview reruns as you change things with the row count, and the shape rail holds filters, group by, nested rows, pivot, sort and columns. Sum, average and spread are built in.

SCHEDULE AND SHARE

Scheduled sends and links that stay live

Save a report and the tabs around it do the rest. Scheduled emails it daily, weekly or monthly to up to five people. Links makes a share link anyone can open without logging in, with a password, an expiry or a view limit when you want them, and the same link serves CSV, Excel, JSON or a Google Sheets formula that stays live. Download gives you Excel or CSV in the background.

EVENT ANALYTICS DASHBOARD

A dashboard from a template, a prompt or an empty board

On an event, every custom dashboard is a tab after Today. Start from the gallery (Event Overview, Submissions Pipeline, Speaker Tracking, Review Progress, Schedule Health, Sponsor Performance, Exhibitor Performance), describe what you want to track and let Sessionboard write the widgets, or build manually. Add widgets from a gallery, from any saved report (the widget follows the report when it changes) or from a query you write; pick table, KPI, bar, line, pie, funnel, heatmap and more; drag to arrange. A dashboard holds up to twenty widgets.

CONFERENCE ANALYTICS ACROSS EVENTS

The organization dashboard compares every event you run

Dashboard in the organization sidebar reads across all of your events: total submissions, pending review, submissions by event, a status funnel, a speaker pool over the years. Its templates are built for comparison, from Portfolio Overview to Review Across Events, and the organization Reports page runs the same builder on the same cross-event data, so a report on speakers who have spoken more than once is built here, not inside one event.

ASK

The question you did not build a dashboard for

Ask answers questions about the event in plain language from the same data, and in the Agent window it opens dashboards and reports as canvases beside the conversation. Any widget can become a full report (Run as report) and any report a widget (Add to dashboard). Connected assistants reach the same reports and dashboards through the MCP server's list_event_reports and read_event_dashboards.

What the program did, with Pathways

Pathways adds the audience side: registrations and check-ins per session with capacity and fill, imported or synced from your registration platform, and a Program report with total check-ins, median fill, full sessions and survey ratings. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS

Share the numbers, not the personal details

Reporting permissions sit on the role under Data and Insights: view reports, create, share, schedule and manage dashboards.

Hide personal details

Masks names and email addresses in a report preview, for screen shares and shared desks.

PII Mode on widgets

Each widget has a PII Mode switch; turn it on before a dashboard link leaves the building.

Revocable links

Every share link can be revoked, and revoked links stay listed so you can see what was out there.

Saved table views

Columns, sort and filters on any module table, saved as a view every admin on the event can pick, when you need the table, not a report.

Event reporting software, answered

What is event reporting software?

Event reporting software turns the data in your event platform into live reports and dashboards without a spreadsheet export: submissions by status, sessions by track, speaker tasks outstanding, review progress, attendance and fill. In Sessionboard the reports read the record the program runs on, so they are always current and can be scheduled, shared or turned into a dashboard widget.

Can we build a report without a developer?

Yes. Start from a gallery of ready-made reports, describe the report in plain English and let Sessionboard write it, or build it in the drag-and-drop Report Builder with fields, filters, group by, nested rows, pivot and sort, with a live preview that shows the row count as you go. SbQL is there for anyone who prefers to write the query.

How do we share a dashboard with the board or a sponsor?

Settings → Share creates a public link anyone can open without a Sessionboard login, showing live data rather than a snapshot. Give the link a name and, if you need to, require a password, set an expiry or limit the views; links can be revoked at any time. Turn on PII Mode on any widget that carries personal details before you share.

Does it report across events?

Yes. The organization has its own Reports page and Dashboard with the same builder and gallery, reading across every event you run, plus templates built for comparison: Portfolio Overview, Cross-Event Pipeline, Speaker Portfolio, Review Across Events, Programs Overview and Partner Performance.

Can reports be scheduled and exported?

A saved report can be emailed daily, weekly or monthly to up to five people, downloaded as Excel or CSV, and shared as a link that also serves CSV, Excel, JSON or a Google Sheets formula that stays live. Exports run in the background and download when ready.

What does conference analytics cover in Sessionboard?

Submissions and the review pipeline, agenda health, speaker tasks and compliance, sponsor and exhibitor performance, and, with Pathways, attendance per session, median fill, full sessions and survey ratings. Ask answers the question you did not build a dashboard for, from the same data.

Who can see and share reports?

Permissions sit on the role under Data and Insights: view reports, create, share, schedule and manage dashboards. Hide personal details masks names and emails in a report preview, and PII Mode does the same on a widget.
